Mouseflow helps you see how people are using your website:
It’s a tiny snippet of JavaScript code that you add to your website and records what people do there. Once it’s installed, you get a dashboard showing real-time user activity. You can see heatmaps to see where people are clicking, or viewport heatmaps to show what parts of your site are actually visible on-screen.
User studies are a real pain to organize, so real-time monitoring like this is pretty appealing. Mouseflow looks like a good solution for gathering some lightweight user activity data. If you’re just starting to research your users, this seems like a good first step.
